Curriculum Intent
Our music curriculum at St Lawrence C of E Primary encourages pupils to listen, respond, perform, and evaluate. Music is a form of creativity and expression; we want to encourage our pupils to develop a love of music. Our music lessons balance practical composition and performance through the use of voices and instruments with musical appreciation and critical engagement. Pupils explore music from around the world and from different genres using the Charanga Musical School scheme of work.
