I liked making our puppets in DT- I made a monster puppet. Year 2
We tried tomato, vegetable, mushroom and curry bean soups and we are now designing our own soup. Year 3
I enjoyed making musical instruments and testing them. Year 4
In climate club we designed an eco-village with different ways t make it sustainable. Year 6
Curriculum Intent
Design and technology enables pupils to creatively consider solutions to problems by evaluating existing designs, planning, making and evaluating their own designs. At St Lawrence C of E Primary School, we aim to inspire and ignite the imagination of our pupils to design and make products that solve real and relevant problems in a variety of contexts which consider their own or other’s needs, wants and values. We aim to develop evaluation and critical understanding by examining past and present design and technology and consider their impact. Pupils learn to develop skills, resourcefulness and to take considered risks.
